The demand for always-on connectivity and resilience for remote networks continues to rise. This has led us to develop Failover to Cellular™ (F2C) – a new feature that keeps your remote networks up, when the primary WAN is down.
  • Utilise Opengear's built-in 3G or 4G LTE cellular modem as a backup WAN connection
  • Maintain Internet connectivity during network faults and failure events with transparent, automatic failover and failback
  • Built using reliable IP Passthrough technology, an easy drop-in solution supporting most dual WAN routers
  • Combines with Opengear Smart OOB™ out-of-band management for remote troubleshooting, remediation – and true network resilience
The Failover to Cellular™ feature will begin shipping in January as a standard feature in all ACM & IM products featuring embedded cellular, and as a free feature upgrade for existing customers.
