Smarter is the best policy
As network infrastructure grows in complexity, IT managers simply can’t use old fashioned physical "hands on" solutions (i.e. skilled technologist on site). They need virtual hands, with smart on site control capabilities. Opengear provides site managers with powerful Virtual Hands they can use to monitor, access and control all the elements of their distributed infrastructure. We enable customers to automate the discovery, diagnosis and resolution of technical problems at their remote sites.

Our integrated edge appliances provide a smarter remote site management solution that:
  • Maximizes system availability and ensures SLAs are met
  • Reduces service costs and minimizes mean-time-to-repair
Opengear delivers automated remote management solutions that integrate all the features needed to monitor, access and control all the infrastructure at your local or remote site - from applications and computers; through networking equipment, security cameras and power supplies; down to door sensors, temperature and digital I/O.

Vigilance Secure remote network management in a cost-cutting world
The terminal servers of 10 years ago have evolved into today’s out-of-band console servers and remote monitoring and management (RMM) gateway devices, and do a lot more than remote access. Modern solutions are management platforms in their own right, integrating troubleshooting tools and capabilities including power outlet control. They function as virtual remote hands, aiming to provide remote operators with the same level of control as if they were physically present.
