Secure Centralized Management
The Opengear Lighthouse solution provides a secure solution across your enterprise. In-band and out-of-band communications to your IT gear can all be centrally managed through top tier secure interfaces including Secure Shell (SSH V2 and V3) SSH port and IP forwarding support. Authentication is flexible to fit all environments with LDAP, Active Directory, RADIUS, TACACS+, and RSA SecurID implementations to further enable efficient management and problem resolution.

Call Home
Locations that are isolated without public IP access initiate outgoing secure SSH tunnels connections to the Opengear Lighthouse. This Call Home feature enables alerting and management of IT infrastructure that is located behind a router or behind a firewall - without configuring the network access.

Access Out of Band from Anywhere
Alerts may be raised in the event of problem identification in a data center or remote site. The IT admin simply utilizes the browser interface on the Opengear Lighthouse to securely connect to the downstream console server through an IP, modem or cellular connection for maintenance, reconfiguration or power cycling. This enables management of your geographically diverse environment, through one centralized interface.
