Opengear provides enterprise grade monitoring and alerting solutions for managing changes in environmental conditions in data centers, computer rooms and remote sites. Temperature, humidity, smoke, motion and water detection.

Alerts are sent via email, SMS and SNMP traps. Automated response sequences can be initiated by environmental trigger events. Access reports remotely using standard Web browsers. Data logged with time stamps.

Environmental Monitoring Device
EMD5000

The EMD5000 environmental monitoring device monitors environmental conditions and connects to any serial port on any Opengear IM4200, CM4100, ACM5500 or ACM5000 models.

Internal temperature and humidity sensors and supports external general purpose status sensors (smoke detector, vibration sensor, water leak detector and door open/close sensor available)
Attaches with an adapter and standard Cat5 cable to any serial port on your Opengear console server - and can be located up to 10 meters (33 feet) away.

Management Gateway
ACM5500

All ACM5500 models have built-in temperature monitoring and can serially attach EMD5000s
The rugged ACM5500 models (ACM5508-2-I, ACM5504-5-G-I, ACM5504-5-L-I and ACM5504-5-G-W-I) also have two built-in TTL level DIO ports that supports externally connected water, smoke and motion dry contact sensors

Remote Site Manager
ACM5000

All ACM5000 models have built-in temperature monitoring and can serially attach EMD5000s
The environmental ACM5000 models (ACM5002-E, ACM5003-M-E, ACM5003-W-E, ACM5004-E, ACM5004-2-E and ACM5004-G(V)-E) support four externally connected sensors
The industrial ACM5000 models (ACM5004-2-I and ACM5004-G(V)-I) support two external sensors.
