Opengear takes iAward-winning solution to Asia-Pacific contest

Opengear is excited to announce that we took out a national category award (Tools and Infrastructure) at the Australian iAwards for our ACM5500 Remote Infrastructure Management Gateway.

Opengear wins a National iAward (Tools & Infrastructure category)

The iAwards ceremony was held on the 9th of August in Melbourne, Australia.  With special guests Senator Stephen Conroy, Deputy Leader of the Government in the Senate and The Minister for Broadband Communications and the Digital Economy, and Gordon Rich-Phillips, Victorian Minister for Technology, the gala event attracted some 800 industry leaders from across the country.

The iAwards are judged by industry, for industry – and they are sponsored by Australia’s three peak industry bodies: the Australian Computer Society (ACS)Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) and Pearcey Foundation.

A big congratulations to our R&D team in Brisbane for this achievement. We’re now looking forward to representing Australia at the APICTA Awards 2012 event in Brunei in December.
