Console Server supporting Docker Containers
Console Servers are typically deployed at the top of networking racks in data centers or at remote sites to ensure resilience and remote access when there is a network disruption. The need to have management software running at rack level at a remote site to monitor network health is also common.
Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to deploy software on a Console Server, eliminating the need for a dedicated physical server – reducing cost, saving rack space and eliminating the extra equipment?
Now you can. With the Opengear OM2200 appliance, you get the benefit of out-of-band (OOB) access, and can also deploy your own automation modules, and third-party or Opengear NetOps Modules packaged as Docker containers.
