Opengear and Hardware.com Agreement Extends Distribution for Innovative, Secure Console and Remote Management Technology
Opengear (www.opengear.com), has announced a new distribution agreement with Hardware.com to extend its market reach across the UK. Opengear will strengthen the Hardware.com portfolio with a range of secure infrastructure management appliances with a focus on IM4200, CM4000 and ACM5000 models.
“We are excited about this partnership as we believe that Opengear brings innovative products to the marketplace and complements our existing range of products,” says Charlie Bellord, MD Hardware.com. “Now our customers can manage their remote servers and networking infrastructure from a central location easily, securely and affordably, without the need for onsite remote staff.”
Founded in 2003 with headquarters in Gloucestershire, England, Hardware.com provides a valued IT partnership to organisations of all sizes with operations across Europe and the USA to allow it to assist with global projects. Hardware.com, part of the Simian Group, is BS EN ISO 9001:2000 certified and offers a range of ad-hoc consultancy, support and training in support of the Opengear product range.
“Our agreement with Hardware.com allows us to address a wider market segment and helps potential partners and customers to easily obtain our next-generation, secure remote management solutions, and for them to quickly see a ROI with increased Mean-Time-Between-Failures and minimised Mean-Time-To-Recover across critical IT, network and server infrastructure,” explains Robert Waldie, VP Business Development for Opengear. “We will be working with Hardware.com in the new year to create joint market awareness program and extend our UK agreement across the international group.”
Hardware.com will provide Level 1 support during standard business hours with Opengear providing out of hours and level 2 support. Hardware.com joins existing distribution partners S-Connect and Entrix to provide a wide range of procurement and support options for the delivery of Opengear solutions.
