Opengear Strengthens Channel Commitment in the U.S. with New Hire
Opengear (www.opengear.com), a leading provider of critical infrastructure management solutions offering advanced console servers, remote management, monitoring, and cellular out-of-band products, today announced the hiring of Cynthia Dahlin as the Channel Manager for the United States. A sales and channel management professional with more than 15 years’ experience in the technology sector, Dahlin will be tasked with building relationships with reseller partners and continuing Opengear’s strong channel growth. Dahlin will work with resellers to provide business planning, training tools, and timely access to information that helps Opengear’s channel partners better serve the remote infrastructure management needs of their customers.
“We’re thrilled to add Cynthia to the Opengear team,” said Rick Stevenson, CEO of Opengear. “The channel is a top priority for Opengear in 2013 and hiring Cynthia demonstrates the commitment we have to furthering our relationships with our resellers. Her extensive experience working with channel partners at top technology companies make her a great fit for this role and for Opengear.”
Dahlin comes to Opengear from VBrick Systems, an enterprise IP video company where she served as the company’s Channel Enablement Manager. While there, Dahlin spearheaded VBrick’s Channel Partner Certification Programs and handled the on-boarding for approximately 30 globally-distributed resellers. Prior to VBrick, Dahlin spent over six years at Polycom, the multinational telepresence and voice communication solution provider. She held several channel-related positions at Polycom, including almost four years as Polycom’s Channel Manager for videoconference, VoIP, and unified communication products. Dahlin earned a B.A. in Marketing and Finance at Boston College.
“I’m excited to continue Opengear’s channel growth momentum in North America,” said Dahlin. “In my role I’ll be able to help drive new partner programs and enable Opengear’s valued resellers to be trusted experts on Opengear’s remote infrastructure management products.”View all Press Releases
