SnapperNet Partnership Enables NZ Resellers to Simplify Control of Complex Networks
Opengear (www.opengear.com) a leading provider of enterprise-grade remote infrastructure management solutions, today announced that they have entered into a new distribution agreement for New Zealand with SnapperNet.
“Opengear are looking forward to expanding our New Zealand sales through this distribution arrangement with SnapperNet. We expect our new range of Advanced Console Management devices, Cellular Routers, and Secure Device Servers to be popular with SnapperNet’s customers,” says Brendan Baker, Opengear’s recently appointed Business Development Manager for New Zealand and Australia.
Opengear design and manufacture console servers and remote management solutions for secure in-band and out-of-band access and control of routers, switches, servers, firewalls, uninterruptible power supplies, power distribution units and environmental monitoring devices.
SnapperNet Director Richard Paul says that New Zealand resellers will benefit from having access to Opengear products.
“Having the Opengear range in our portfolio again will complete our out-of-band management and access and control solution offering to resellers,” he says.
”Our resellers now have all the tools they need to simplify control of complex distributed systems and networks.”
The connections between the two companies are already strong. “Bob Waldie, Chairman and CEO of Opengear and Tony Merenda, Director and Vice President of Engineering, were both co-founders of SnapGear (acquired by McAfee),” says Richard Paul.
