Quirk, a seasoned business and technology executive, will oversee Opengear’s global operations, driving the company’s strategic growth initiatives — further enhancing its leading position in the data center and network management markets.

Quirk brings a wealth of experience in operations management, strategic partnerships, and technology leadership to his new role. He joins Opengear from Nautilus Data Technologies, where he served as Chief Technology Officer, spearheading the company’s transformation from a data center operator to a pioneering technology provider. His prior experience includes executive roles at Vertiv, where he was President of Avocent Corp and Vice President and General Manager for the IT Systems business, as well as senior positions at Emerson Network Power, LSI, and Motorola.

Quirk holds an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University, a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Auburn University.
