The continued acceleration in revenue growth, approaching 40% year-on-year, is being driven by increased demand and an enlarged channel community.

“Our increased investment in EMEA is a response to the fantastic growth we’ve seen in the region over the last few years,” says Gary Marks, CEO of Opengear. “To support this acceleration of the market, we are strengthening our team on the ground along with exciting new partner agreements in Central and Eastern Europe.”

Before joining Opengear, Stewart-Brown spent 8 years at Xirrus where as VP of Sales EMEA he was responsible for the region’s year-on-year double-digit growth.

In addition, Opengear has strengthened its EMEA footprint with the creation of a UK-based inside sales team, and an additional direct sales manager in Western Europe along with the onboarding of several new resellers including, S-Connect and IP Xchange in the Netherlands, Delo in Italy and Teneo in the UK.

Commenting on his appointment, Stewart-Brown added, “Opengear has experienced impressive growth in the region and is quickly becoming the de facto technology innovator and leader within the critical infrastructure management space.  With a future embracing emerging areas like SD-WAN and NetOps, the strategy is to grow our addressable market and enlarge an already sizeable channel community into new territories and vertical markets to maximise Opengear’s full potential.”

To further support its growth agenda, Opengear has launched a new Partner Portal to provide a smooth interface with its expanding channel partners. The portal is available to Preferred Partners and includes automated deal registration, a library of product information and easy access to channel-specific promotions.

“Our commitment to EMEA is recognition that the challenges that organisations face when managing the complexities of critical IT infrastructure are truly global,” says Marks. “Through technical excellence and innovation, Opengear will continue on its path to help organisations overcome these challenges and deliver more reliable and easier to manage networks.”
