Exclusive Networks, a value-added distributor and global specialist in cybersecurity and cloud solutions, today announced its partnership with Opengear, a market-leading provider of solutions that deliver secure, resilient network access and automation to critical IT infrastructure.
Opengear specializes in providing remote access to network devices via a secure alternative pathway, known as out-of-band management. Opengear’s alliance with Exclusive Networks aims to win over the strategic partners active in the deployment of network infrastructure, hosting, facilities management or SD-WAN in EMEA.
The partnership intends to enable Network Resilience offerings based on Opengear’s secure out-of-band technology to earn the loyalty of many partners in France by the end of next year.
Consequently, Exclusive Networks has integrated Opengear’s remote critical infrastructure management and centralised management software offer into the solutions portfolio it proposes to customers.

Opengear’s solutions allow centralised control of network infrastructure equipment through an Internet or 3G/4G connection, as well as access to the console port, IP or USB of supervised equipment in order to relaunch or repair them remotely in case of a breakdown or if a main connection becomes defective. These capabilities are particularly valuable to customers with equipment spread across several sites/geographies and who lack the necessary IT skills or resources to manage them on site. As a result, there is potential to greatly reduce the mean time to repair (MTTR) through faster remediation and reduced costs of travel by operational teams. Organisations can then be more proactive and responsive in their approach to resolving problems.
