Lifecycle Definitions
End of Sale: This marks the final date on which a product is available for purchase from Opengear. Beyond this date, the product will no longer be sold, but Opengear commits to fixing critical security vulnerabilities including remote, unauthenticated privilege escalations, critical Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), critical information leaks, or remote code execution vulnerabilities for products under warranty until the End of Support Date.
End of Support: This marks the final date when Opengear will release any software updates for the product. After this date, Opengear will cease to provide support, software updates, or security patches for the product.
Opengear Warranty
All Opengear branded appliances include a 4 year standard factory warranty which includes technical support, software updates, and hardware replacement while under warranty.
Extended warranty is available for purchase to extend coverage for years 5 through 8 or until product End of Support date, whichever comes first. Extended warranty ensures ongoing access to technical support, software updates, and hardware replacement for longer-term deployments.
